I have known Bill & Joan Homrighausen over 30 years as their stockbroker and financial confidant. I had an hour visit with Bill last Friday, the day before his passing. He was very alert and happy, telling me about his service in the Marines during W.W. II, his favorite trips to Ireland with Joan, his work with Shell, and commenting on every picture family picture on the wall across from his bed (especially the Mitzi pictures). As I was preparing to leave, he shook my hand numerous times with that special Bill smile, and insisted that I come back next week. His last gesture to me was his left hand in the air in a Marine salute. I will miss him deeply, but I have many treasured memories. Bless his wonderful family who had 89 years with their father who cared about them more than they will ever know. I know he's holding hands with Joan, reminiscing about all their life experiences together.

Dear Jean, Tony, and Family,
We are very sorry for your loss. While I (Russ) only met Bill a couple of times, he was always gracious and showed me more respect than my youth probably warranted. I do remember one conversation where we were discussing an "ornamental pear" planted in your parent's front yard. I seem to recall that he thought a pear tree without fruit was kind of pointless. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. May God remind you of many 'good" memories.

I worked at St. Vincent Stress Center for many years. "Tuesday Bill" helped with many projects in the community relations department. I had some of the best conversations of my life over stuffing envelopes with this man. What a joy he was to know. Bless you Bill, and bless your family at this time. It was an absolute joy to know you. Christine Taylor

I worked with Bill in the Shell Pipeline office in Indianapolis from 1977-1982. He was a warm and friendly guy who was helpful and positive, especially with the newer folks in the office. He frequently told a joke or had a humorous story or expression to liven things up. We all liked him. I've thought about him frequently over the years after I moved away. God bless you all.

Bill was a wonderful fellow employee with Shell and very supportive and managed to train many young engineers and other staff. he was a great safety leader and had real field experience to relate to all staff and management. Bill will be missed by all who knew him and especially all who worked closely with him over the yeras. Frank and Carolyn Lee, The Woodlands, Tx Mar 25, 2015

My thoughts and prayers are with you folks. I first met your dad in 1966 when I started working with Shell up in Indianapolis. He was always one I would stop by to visit with whenever I returned to visit the office and family in Indy. Many fond memories.

Bill was such a kind and caring man. He loved a good joke. I am especially grateful for all nice things he would do for my mom. My thoughts are with you during this sad time.

Dear Jean and all your family,
I was saddened to hear of your father's passing, and to realize that you had also lost your mother last year. Even though we do not see each other these days, your friendship and that from your parents those many years ago, is a lasting treasure. Please know that you all are in our prayers during this time.
Fondly, Diana (Kapouralos) Gilliatt

Dear Homrighausen Family,
There are few things more difficult than dealing with the loss of a loved one. I am honored that you have chosen our family to care for your family during this time. Please let me know if there is more we can do to help celebrate your loved-one's life.
