Condolence & Memory Journal

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I have warm memories of your mom driving me to kindergarten, when my mom wanted to go back to teaching again. I was a scared, shy child attending school and your Mom was so comforting....Grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch... smell of dentyne gum. Great memories

To the Malz Family
Great memories of your Mom & Dad
Your Mom took me to the emergency
room because we only had one car.
Her smile was so bright and those blue eyes that my Mom and I both had as well.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Can't wait to see her in Heaven. What a reunion that will be.

Love ya's

Your mom was the best, will never forget the times we had growing up in Skokie, swimming lessons, birthday parties, etc. Will keep her in my prayers

Growing up with you and all of the other families who made their home on Chase Ave. during the 1950s, 60s, and 70s was like having several co-parents keeping watch over a hoarde of crazy kids--which is to say that your mother's passing represents the loss of a "mom" for me as well. I hope that you, like me, are comforted by the memories of when we all used to gather in the alley outside your back door after dinner to talk and laugh as the familiar sounds of your mom in the kitchen and your dad playing piano became the backdrop for our happy summer evenings long ago--All my love to you all. . .

Candle

Laura, Matt and I extend our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother. Our prayer is that God will give you the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the strength to endure. To be absent from the body means to be present with the Lord. Your mom was such a special lady; always interested in what was going on in the lives of those around her. Her heart lives on in you. You are blessed to have been able to call her "Mom".
