Condolence & Memory Journal

Jack, I know you're paying attention, so thanks for the 65 years of being an amazing uncle. You were my mom's brother and her lifetime friend...those good feelings and times trickled through the families each year as we gathered for family events (always planned by you!), especially those Christmas's when you all shipped us kids to the movies for the afternoon so you all adults (?) could party! You did keep all the family in touch and up-to-date with each other...a huge task since we are spread throughout the country. Those annual family letters with the latest information about family members and their lives kept us connected no matter what. I miss you. Behave yourself now. Love, Karen, your "favorite niece."

"Handsome" was a scrappy Jack Russell after all. He never cowered from an issue, fought the good fight, and lived a full life. It was amazing to watch him interact with all the different personalities with whom he surrounded himself. I will remember all the fun times that were had. He was a true best friend to Dad for which I will be ever grateful.

I will never forget Jack always reminding me - after I 'read' one Sunday at St. Andrews Church, I accidently picked up Pastor Hunt's sermon notes and took them to the rear of the sanctuary. After some confusion, he was able to retrieve them and commenced with his sermon. Jack thought this incident was hilarious -and, it was a bit humorous! Dear Jack, my buddy, please rest in peace and know that God will always be with you.

Jack "signed" me up at the age of 7 at the Municipal Gardens - I remember the day very well. I "lived" at the Gardens and the "family" there. Helped shape my life forever. I was lucky enough to be with the first Team to go to Puerto Rico. Thanks for the support - understanding with young people - your endless time! With Sympathy, David Koon
