Tribute & Message From The Family

Emily Rose Meyers, 24, passed away April 20, 2015. She was born September 9, 1990, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Tom Meyers and Beth (Resutko) Meyers.

Emily attended The Orchard School and later graduated in 2009 from Brebeuf Jesuit High School. She received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education in 2013 from Indiana University. Emily was looking forward to teaching first grade at The Orchard School in the fall. Em loved working with children, hanging with her friends, and spending time with her large extended family, especially summers at Fenwick Island. Her greatest joy and passion was helping people, young and old, become the best they could be mentally, physically, and spiritually. Her vivacious energy and positivity was contagious and affected all those around her. She was an avid yoga participant and was creating her own website "Om Sweet Om". Her radiant smile, sweet demeanor, and love light will always be cherished and her spirit will forever live in our hearts.

She is survived by her mother, Beth Meyers; father, Tom (Suzanne) Meyers; two brothers, Matt Meyers and Luke Meyers; grandparents, Patricia "Maw" Resutko and Jim and Claire Meyers; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dog Fenwick. She was preceded in passing by her grandfather, Theodore Resutko.

A memorial mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Road. A Celebration of Emily's Life "I Hope You Dance" will immediately follow the mass at the Oak Hill Mansion. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive.
