Condolence & Memory Journal

I was a chemistry student at Marian University. He was a teacher whom I very much admired, and today still feel thankful for all that he taught me.

I knew Ed while volunteering at the food pantry at its orginal location on Kenwood. He was always so cheerful. It was such a pleasure working with him. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Erica & Family, I was truly saddened to hear of your loss. I've known Ed for many years -- since he joined the woodworking club. We worked together many times and in a variety of capacities. I always enjoyed the challenge of getting him to laugh and knew that many times he was doing so on the inside while not wanting to give me the satisfaction of an outward appearance. It's my priviledge to have considered him a friend.

I took a P-Chem class from Ed in probably 2001 - I loved his class. He was a great teacher and truly enjoyed what he did. He was a wonderful person who positively influenced so many people. He will be missed.

and sharing. I know he is now enjoying the reward he so rich deserved.

Erika and family: please know of our thoughts and prayers as you celebrate the life and mount the loss of Ed. We knew him most recently as a faith-full and tireless workers at the food pantry - a sign of how he "nourished" so many through his gifts. Unfortunately, a trip to visit our son in Colorado does not let us share these words in person.
