Rest in peace Uncle Bill. Thank you for always being a phone call away. You got me started in Law Enforcement and everything I do will be in your honor. I will strive to be as calm, patient, forgiving, and understaning as you. You were a man that admitted his mistakes and worked to try to fix those mistakes. We love you like a father.

A kind heart, a gentle spirit and a great smile will always be a signature of you for me. I appreciated your taking me under your wing as a young trooper, inviting me to your house and sharing your knowledge! Even though time brings about a change and people typically change with the times, you forever treated me kind as a true man of God would do. Never fake or phony, you kept it real and forever you'll be blessed by The Father for you actions!
The time has come for you to rest Bill, for you have served this lifetime well!

We were all blessed when Bill Sanders brought the bright light of his smile to our lives.
He truly cared for everyone and was a living testimony to God's love and light.
He carried God's love within his soul and you could see it flow like a river through Bernice, his children, his friends and his extended family of law enforcement. We all join Bernice and the family in raising up this true man of God - this true servant leader - this true protector and most kind and gentle soul. Be with him and his family as they grieve the great pain of separation and experience his resurrection to you O Lord, for this we pray this day, Amen
