Ruth Genevieve Byard born January 16, 1924 to Albert and Roxie Craig.
Went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 28, 2015. Wife of nearly 69 years to Donald William Byard. Mother to 7 children, grandmother to 7, and great grandmother to 15. Preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters and her daughter Janice and granddaughter Wendy. Retired from Link Belt Chain Plant in 1986 after nearly 30 years.
Service: June 1, 2015 @ 3:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan North, with visitation from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Didn't know your Mom,but I know she was very sorry for your loss, when my Granny passed away I thought it would be very hard,although I miss her so much, and think of all the things she tought me all the time ,everytime I think of her in Heaven,it's makes me smile. Love you guys ,Gloria Woodall

I lost a life long friend. It seems so unreal.I guess I thought Gennie would be with me forever. I cherish the time we had together and needless to say i'll miss my best friend. Will truly miss you Gennie, love Jheri.
