Message From The Family

The Snyder family would like to extend a special thanks to her attending physician Doctor Robert Weller (IU Health) and to the staff of American Village

Manoush "Moni" Hagopian Snyder of Indianapolis passed quietly in her sleep on July 17, 2015. She was (93) years old.
She loved her country, family, music and sports. She had numerous hobbies. She belonged to the Nelson Eddy Appreciation Society. As a youth she sang in the church choir and played the violin. She attended the Aetna School of Commerce and worked for an insurance claims adjuster. After marriage, she continued to do insurance claims work in her home. This led to an in-home typing business, primarily typing class and term papers for Butler University students.
During WWII she was a volunteer cadet at the Service Men's Club (USO). Two of her four sons graduated from West Point and served in the Army. Election Day found her working at the polls. She was a loner, yet an instant friend with everyone with whom she came in contact. She was an ardent reader and never stopped learning. She was truly a unique person.
Her husband of (52) years, Albert Roger Snyder, died in 2001, and she proudly remained a member of his family. Sister, Alice Wilson preceded her in death as well.
She is survived by her four sons, Jeffery Albert, Bradford Nelson, Daniel Roger, Phillip Douglas, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and brother, Garo Hagopian, sisters, Lucy Rollings, and Mary Hagopian.
