Condolence & Memory Journal

I am so sorry for your loss. I was out of town when David passed away, but remember him from our many years of working together on the Building & Grounds committee for the Hamilton county Fairgrounds. His presence will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry for your loss. I'll always remember working with Dave on one of my first projects at Indesign. Working with him for almost 10 years, he was always fun to be around and always made me laugh. He will sincerely be missed.

Beth, Erin, and Chris,
I worked with your Dad for over 20 years and enjoyed his wry and sarcastic humor. He was a talented and dedicated firmware engineer and took pride in creating great products for people to use and enjoy. I know he enjoyed you, his family, because he was always encouraging me to spend quality time with my family. I know you will miss him greatly, but I hope you will also remember the good times spent together. I will surely miss Dave and his presence at Indesign.

Dear Maksymczak Family:

I was so surprised to hear about David's illness and passing as I had moved out of Indy 4 years ago. He was a great friend, and taught me many things through attending Dave Ramsey's seminars, horse events, and life in general. Many prayers and warm wishes to all of you.

Erin, Chris and Beth: Your Dad, as was your family, a fixture in our lives as our kids grew up together. We love you guys and hope that you feel your Dad's (or husband's) love always surrounding you. Through 4H, Hamilton County Horsemen, the beloved Scheele barn where we met you, camping trips, we have lots of happy memories. Candle

Dear Beth, Erin, and the Maksymczak Family

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and prayers. I know it must be extremely difficult for all of you, but the suffering and pain Dave suffered is over. Death is not the end of life and the beginning of darkness; in the journey of the soul, it is the end of darkness and the beginning of light. It is not blackness that falls with the coming of light, it is blowing out the candle as a new day dawns. A new day is dawning for him, in a place where there is no more suffering, no pain, nor sorrow, or death. Try not to be consumed by sorrow and loss, celebrate the times you had together, and remember how he blessed your lives. You are not forgotten or abandoned, Dave's spirit and love will always be with you. There is nothing to fear from death, it is a season in the cycle of life. By dying, we are again united with those we love. When our Lord came to Earth and died, he proved that death is but a gateway, and above all, that love transcends death. True love is forever, in this way Dave will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.

Dear Erin, family and all who knew David~ Please accept my deepest sympathies at this most difficult of times. David was a great person. I got to know him through involvement with Hamilton County Horseman Club during the years my daughters, Nicole and Veronica, were showing. Always enjoyed the meetings and the HCHC shows and David's making me feeling like one of the "family". He will be missed. Hoping that the love and support from family and friends help you through your difficult time(s) --

Beth, you have been a good friend and I love working with you. I was so happy for you and David to have found eachother, even though his illness I'm sure was not what either of you would have chosen for the other. Though I never got to meet David, just hearing about how happy you both were to have found eachother and be together made such an impression on so many people! As Kathy said, God has a plan, and I'm sure having you in his life made David's last days here on earth better! My heart goes out to you and David's children and family, but it's not the end for David, it's just a new beginning! He'll always be in your hearts and watching over you, until you see him again some day in a new and perfect body! If there is anything I can do, please call me! Deepest sympathies...

I am so sad to hear of the news of Dave's passing. I knew him through the love of horse people. Although I had not had any contact with him for sometime, I thought of him often. I was so happy to hear he had met and married a wonderful lady. He spoke most often of his beloved children. I remember one conversation where he stated that his biggest goal in life was to "launch" his kids to be responsible adults. He loved you two kids and wanted the best for you. I am so sorry for your loss. I am thankful for the time I was able to enjoy his friendship, his wit and his kind sweet spirit. There is no one that I know that was like him. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Wilann Beeson

David will be sadly missed by me and by everyone at Indesign. He has been a valued founder and member of Indesign for over 18 years, supporting our business and our people. David's dedication to his work was a model for others at our company.
David was a personal inspiration to me when Lucent Bell Laboratories was being moved to New Jersey, as he suggested that we could create a group here in Indy to carry on work together. That vision of keeping a team together was a rallying vision for me and others to start Indesign.
At Indesign David was always committed to meeting the needs of his projects and his project teams, doing whatever it takes...including working long hours...to meet those needs. David was a highly respected member of all of his project teams.
Above all else we will miss David as a friend at Indesign. He was a very caring, sincere person with a big heart. That friendship will be forever valued by everyone at Indesign who worked with him. We are very grateful to have known him.

Beth, I am so sad to hear about David's early death. I have not had a chance to talk to you in some time so this comes to me as a surprise. I know that God has a plan for each of us and that His plan in perfect - even if we don't understand. God blessed both you and David last fall in your marriage, and having a loving spouse like you to take care of him in his time of need sends a message to me that God brought the two of you together to enjoy your love, even if it was for not as long as you two had hoped. Heaven is suppose to be an amazing place beyond our imagination, so I believe David is in a wonderful place. My sadness is for you and the adjustments you will need to endure. If I can help in any way please call me. Sincerely, Kathy Landen
