We are so very sorry for your loss. We have been thinking and praying for your family. Molly had the pleasure of knowing Nicholas, and she has told us what great things he did at CHS. He had great role models in his parents; always giving to the Carmel community. Please know that we are thinking of all of you in this most difficult time. We know your faith is strong and that will help you get through this.

Dear Dennis & Jackie,

Just heard about your Nick today and we're so sorry for your loss. We thought very highly of your son. He was a kind and geninuine soul...a fine young man. Joe and I watched him grow as he helped out with the Carmel Dad's Club and we would see him working for the summer at O'Malia's. He left a positive impression on us; respectful and polite. When we would see him, he was thoughtful and would often ask about our boys. Just wanted to share our experiences with Nick, he will be missed. Your family is in our thoughts.

From a co-worker: I remember when Nick started working part-time where I also worked. He came up to pace in no time, and before we knew it, he was helping the rest of us flourish. Although he didn't call attention to himself, he had a confident sturdy presence about him. He must have also been a team leader in his growing up years. I noticed some gathering of work buddies a few times to have fun after work. I never saw Nick flustered or uptight; though his flushed cheeks were an easy give away, if even slight concern came over him. He was just even-keel, courteous, dependable, humble Nick. But also very responsible.
Of course, there were several others whom I felt were my comrades, I have no doubts, Nick would come to the assistance for any one of us or any one he knew or provided for customer service. I say that with 100% confidence.
We've lost a beautiful soul. Our only consolation, that God's calling him home.

To the Wolfe family:
I was so sorry to hear about Nicholas. He is truly one of the kindest and genuine young men I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Teachers are not supposed to have favorites, but you should know that Nicholas was always special and memorable to me. Even several years after I had him in my 7th grade social studies class, he always had a big smile and a hug for me. I hope that hearing and reading the wonderful things that people have to say about him will help you through this time.
Sincerely, Marcy Abel (Clay Middle School)

Dear Wolfe Family,
We can't even imagine how hard this time is for you. I grew up with Nicholas from preschool to high school, and he had been nothing but kind to me. I will always remember going to his Halloween parties in preschool at your house and how much fun I had all those times. While I wasn't great friends with him in high school, he never failed to say hello and smile as we passed in the hallways. Nicholas was an amazing man with the kindest of hearts. We are so incredibly sorry for your loss and we will keep your family in our thoughts in prayers. Nicholas will be dearly missed by all. May he rest in peace.

I met Nick only twice at IU. I don't attend the same school but would visit often. He was part of a group of friends I was introduced to late in the first semester of our freshman year. During the first night, he had played his favorite movie that contained a lot of singing, dancing, and performances (I don't remember the title) and was so excited to show someone who had never seen it before. He reiterated interesting facts about the movie and pointed out noteworthy actors and actresses. He was always--ALWAYS--so generous whenever anyone came into his room ranging from offering juice in his fridge to giving up sitting space for others to play video games. It makes me absolutely sick that I will never get one more chance to see his bright face, blonde hair, or luminescent smile. It's absolutely insane that he barely started his sophomore year with us and I didn't even get to see him. However, from this moment on, there needs to be more recollection than mourning because I know if nick were still around, he would be in pain to see this many people frowning.

Wolfe family, I can't begin to fathom how difficult this time must be. Nick was a great man and friend with infinite potential. Nick was and will always be remembered in my mind as an incredibly nice and humble guy. He was a leader in school and on the field. I can remember working for hours on our AP Macro video project sharing laughs the entire time as we struggled to put together a 15 minute video the night before it was due. It makes me smile thinking about little times like that that I was able to share with Nick over the course of our k-12 years. I can say that I'm honored I was able to know Nick and call him a friend. I know Nick is in a better place now and in God's loving company. God bless, I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
