She had a great passion for cooking and baking a variety of gourmet cuisines. She loved the company of her Great Danes of which she had many throughout her life.

A member of Carmel United Methodist Church, she was a devoted Christian who served her Church and community by volunteering for Meals on Wheels, St Vincent Hospital, CUMC's food pantry, and many others. Always seeking to grow in Christ, she was a member of the Creative Living Bible Study for over 15 years.

She always had an incredible sense of humor and a candor which fostered true meaningful friendships that lasted whether they were made recently or from childhood. Her proudest achievement was raising her six children with the greatest love and affection a parent could show.

Condolence & Memory Journal

I'm so sad to hear this. I feel like she was a second mom to me growing up. I remember she made wonderful waffles for our breakfast! She would always be there to take us where we needed to go and she was fun to be around. My thoughts are with all of you!
