I only knew him for a very short period of time, but he made more of an impression then most people I have known my entire life. I remember one day I had ridden my bike over there from my parents house. It had been a rough night and morning and I was very upset. I remember sitting on the front porch smoking a cigarette with tears in my eyes. What he did when he saw meant so much even though it was so simple. He put his hand on my shoulder for a brief moment and told me it was okay to cry. He is the only man that I can say is as great of a man as my father is. Always good for a laugh also. Which is something I always try and do and will do more of in rememberance of him. Thank you.

Robert will always be an AWESOME friend! We met 26 years ago, he taught me how to cook, manage others as well as a budget! I will miss all of our laughter we shared over the years, and a few tears as well!

Watching his children come into this world as well as burying his daughter Lyndsay, so glad you are with her now! Thanks again friend for helping me get through the burial of my dear friend Vicki just 2 years ago!

Having you marry Ray and I was so special for us, memories we will never forget! Goodbye for now my friend, Give a shout out to all of our lost loved ones! Peace & Blessings, Kelly :)8t7as

My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to you and your family for your loss of your beloved husband and father Robert. There is very little anyone can say or do to ease the loss of the one that meant so much to you. May you find comfort and peace knowing there are many hearts that understand and care. May the Lord give you strength, peace and comfort in your time of need.

"Somewhere a journey begins at the end of the worldly existence we know, Somewhere a path stretches over the stars, and rivers of memories flow~~~"

"Somewhere a silence is heard far away~~~ and the brightness of day fills the night. Where the trials of the life are resolved into peace~~~ when a soul finds its way to the light."

Sincerely,
Gayle

Robert was one of the kindest people I've known. He always had a kind word and it was always delivered with a smile. His family is in my prayers.

I worked with Robert for many years at Thomas Catering, Robert was fun to work with and could be tough as well. I just loved him, he will be missed. One thing that Robert always did was talk about his children. Loving thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Robert was such a nice person. He really enjoyed the children. He didn't have to but each day he would come down with one of the vegetable stuffed animals and greet each of the children in the classroom or even go out on the playground to talk to them. He was so sweet and kind. We appreciated him very much. He will be missed.

My dad was one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was loved by many and had friends he didn't even know about. He will be very missed, but I am blessed in knowing that he is in a better place now and no longer hurting. I will miss him everyday for the rest of my life, but I know he is watching over us and sending us his love from heaven above. I am extremely grateful to all the people who took great care of him in his last days.
I love you Dad, always.....
