Barbara J. Alveal, 56, of Indianapolis passed away September 22, 2012. She was born the daughter of James and Virginia Crockett on June 24, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN. She was a registered nurse at the William N. Wishard Memorial Hospital and worked for Midtown Community Mental Health Center. She was also a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, where she was a lector and eucharistic minister. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Crockett, her husband Bruno Alveal, 2 sons; Eric and Kevin Alveal, siblings Sylvia Thorne, Cynthia (Steve) Mazelin, Leslie (John) Lentz, Stephen (Patty) Crockett, Shannon Crockett and Christopher Crockett, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Pete and Shirley Alveal. Barbara is preceded in death by her father James Crockett. The Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 26, at 10:30 AM at St. Michael Church, 3354W. 30th St. Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will be this Tuesday, September 25 from 4-8 at the church. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to her church, St. Michael. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan – Market Street.
