Michael D. Arnold 66, Indianapolis, passed away August 1, 2011. Michael was born on March 20, 1945 to Walter B. Arnold, Sr. and the late Mabel Marie Arnold (McVeigh).

Michael was a veteran of the US Army, serving his country during the Vietnam War. He earned his master’s degree in business administration and worked as Chief Operating Officer at Bingham McHale, LLP. He was an active member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church; Lockerbie Square People’s Club, where he served as Past-President; and Historic Landmarks. He also volunteered as a mentor at Howe High School.

Michael is survived by his wife, Judith A. (Martin) Arnold; children: Michele Reisdorf (Chris) and Jonathan Arnold (Amy); grandchildren: Matthew, Caitlin, and Cole Reisdorf and Carrie, Emily, and Natalie Arnold; and brothers: Walter B. Arnold, Jr. (Sue), Mark C. Arnold (Carol) and Timothy Arnold.

Friends may call from 3-6pm on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Market Street, 635 E. Market Street, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 1505 N. Delaware St, Indianapolis. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coleman Pregnancy Center, Redeemer Presbyterian Church or Howe High School.
