C. Robert Appledorn 55, of Indianapolis, passed away August 21, 2007. He was a medical imaging physicist at the I.U. School of Medicine Department of Radiology, Indianapolis, IN. He retired in 2000 and was an avid genealogist. He went to high school and Junior College at New Mexico Military Institute and graduated from University of New Mexico. He received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He is preceeded in death by his father, Conrad R. Appledorn. He is survived by wife, Pam S. Stengel Appledorn; daughter, Angie (Jack) Hopson; mother, Lois Georgia Syreen Appledorn; sister, Barbara (Dennis) Offner; and brother, Roger Appledorn. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2007 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center- Broad Ripple. Services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, August 25, 2007 with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
