Jerry L. Mason, 70, of Zionsville died May 20, 2012. Mr. Mason was born February 15, 1942 in Attica, IN to Sonny J. and Dorothy Beaver Mason; they preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy, Russell, Ed, and his sister, Ruth Johnson. Jerry was a graduate of Attica High School and was the owner of Jerry Mason Drywall and Painting.
Jerry enjoyed life's simple pleasures; he was a huge Colts fan, loved NASCAR, but above all, he loved being with his family especially his grandkids.
Mr. Mason is survived by his loving wife, Jean Mason; his children, Sherry Mason Harper, Shanna Mason Barb, Stephanie Mason, Jerry L. Mason Jr., and Tammy Mason. Also surviving are his grandkids, Zach, Emma, Lexi, Andrew, Lauren, Nick, and Jay; and his sisters, Rita Green, and Karen Raiche.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 2 pm Friday, May 25, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville with a funeral service beginning at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Zionsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boone Cancer Society.
