Kenneth E. Bendler Sr., 71, Indianapolis, passed away March 12, 2004.

He was the husband of Patricia A. Bender of 50 years. Father of David A., Kenneth, Jr. "Chip", Vicki L., Carl L. and Dale F.: 11 grandchildren and 4 1/2 great grandchildren.

He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 in Europe. Kenneth retired from Kroger's in 1996.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park East with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2004.
