Stephen R. Holmes 67, of Indianapolis, passed away January 20, 2010. He was born May 23, 1942 in to Jack R. and Gertrude Holmes White. Stephen was a life long resident of Indianapolis and a retired drywall contractor. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters Tina and Barbara Holmes and a brother Bob White. Survivors include his significant other, Judy Ousley; 4 sons, Stephen Holmes, Jr., Rick (Terri) Holmes, Mike (Angie) Holmes and Chris Holmes; daughter, Angie (Jerry) Holmes-Prindiville; 2 brothers, Fred White and John White; a sister, Sharon (Wayne) Melton; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren; and former wife, Jacee Holmes-Mills. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Floral Park. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
